Losing weight can be stressful, so why not incorporate some foods that have been proven to boost your mood? We’re not talking about junk food! There are healthy foods out there that can actually make you happy.

Salmon

Omega 3s found in salmon have been proven to boost your mood as they are filled with healthy fats. Studies have shown that people who add more omega 3s to their diet were also 30% less likely to develop gum disease compared to those who rarely have it.

Avocado

Avocado is another food high in omega 3 and good fats. They’re a healthy alternative to use as a spread on your sandwich rather than butter, and they’ll leave you feeling less bloated.

Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate is all the rage! It contains magnesium which is said to calm muscles and induce relaxation, so add a square or two into your diet.

Green Tea
